The most common way to get your work published on Lit.Org is to post it
to one of our channels, like Poetry or Stories.
We accept any original writing as long as it's not pornographic or fan fiction. There are plenty
of other places on the Internet for those kinds of writing. Be sure to read out
Guidelines and F.A.Q. before submitting.
Our channels get over 30,000 page views and 2,000 visitors a month. It's a great way to get your
words in front of people who want to read them. Writers and Readers give feedback allowing you to
edit and perfect your work. So far we've had 3 writers go on to publish books! And more in the works.
So don't delay, Submit something!
We also accept submissions to Majestic, our Monthly newsletter. Unlike our publication channels on the
site, Majestic, as well as our other publications, have stricter guidelines and themes. Your work must
be polished and ready to be read. If you're not sure, post it to the site and get feedback before you send it in.
Our publications reach thousands of readers and hundreds subscribed by email. On the main site, your work
will be listed with other writers works. Sometimes it can get lost in the shuffle. With our publications, we
only publish a limited number of works per issue allowing greater exposure. We don't pay for submissions at
this time, however, you do get a byline with a short author bio and links to your web site(s).
Read about Majestic's editorial schedule and guidelines.
We will be adding details about our new publications very soon!
