the beauty of this land of ours
is that we have the right to choose
what ever we think, speak or write
the constitution says we can't lose
we are allowed to hold our views and dream
of better things that come to be
to practice our religon, live our lives
in this land where we are free
we don't have to hide our way of life
or keep our opinions tucked inside
we can stand up for what we hold so dear
and express what we decide
we don't have to worry about being locked inside
a prison for saying what we feel
nor worry about being shot
for political views or keep them concealed
we have so many freedoms
that we don't even understand
but the biggest freedom that we have
is that we are free to support this land
we are free to change the laws and vote
for things that we believe
and even get rid of politicians
when we feel we have been decieved
so lets give praise to this old land
and to all the freedoms that we share
and thank the ones who fought and died
for all our dreams and cares
