They wanted to be like their hero's
And imagined walking down the streets
With the Earp's and Doc.Holiday
T'was the gun fight at the OK..everyday
Looking trouble square in the eyes
All in the back yard under blue skies
Sometimes they'd fight the Indians too
Circling the wagons before all heck broke loose

Still see and hear them today
At least in my imaginative way
Arguing over who's gonna be the good guy
Or who's turn it was this time to die
Their all grown-up now for time marches on
Yet cowboys both good and bad
Live on in the hearts of little boys
And the likes of Wyatt and Doc. Holiday
Fight again and again at the OK
