Walking 'neath the willows,
Down beside the stream,
There she stood, gilded and Greek,
Like an exquisite dream.

Never since has there been,
& Never will there be,
The glow that emanates from her,
All absorbing me.

Eyes that peirced right through,
Searching to my tattered soul,
Not finding what's required-
She cuts yet another hole.
