The water flows around her,
She's waiting to become.
Less pretty than the others
More beautiful than some.

There's something strange about her,
Just what one can't be sure.
Too soft to be untainted,
& Too sweet to be impure.

Let us write a page inside her book,
- Waiting to be found.
Water closing, all around her,
She withers, without a sound.

Re: Claire and Poes
I'm so so flattered by your response to this poem. At first i found it weak, even though i reached deep inside myself for the imagery i required. It was partially inspired by this beautiful song by Rasputina called 'Dig Ophelia'. And then of course the constant reminder of the beautiful people i know that seen to wither right in front of us, so sadly. I am so very pleased that it was well received!
