Project Type: Media (magazine)
Project Description: Playing with the theme of Heraldry, Repellent Magazine aims to draw upon parallels between the symbols and meanings of the past and the present. By combining antiquated iconography with contemporary visual language there exist interesting opportunities for playing with new juxtapositions, references and meanings.
Magazine Release Date: March 2004
Terms: Repellent is a small operation that runs on a very limited budget. As a result, we are unable to offer monetary compensation for contributed content. We depend on our contributors to donate their artwork for free, although we will pay for productions costs for original artwork commissions. For exhibitions and events Repellent does pay for production fees (again this varies with each situation). Copyright is held by the author of the work. Repellent reserves the right to publish the work in future online and/or print editions.
