It's your smoke that I couldn't breathe through
It's your acid that burned my mouth
It's your ego that made me choke
Itís your manipulation that made me drown

You danced around me
Your nature surrounds me
I thought,
We watched the world fall beneath us
It crumbled into bread and disappeared into empty mouths
We watched silhouettes turn into monsters
They chased invisible prey and slunk back into the night

But the psychedelic visions passed me
However your hypocrisy remained
Once I still felt the extraordinary grasp me
Now, all that I still feel is stained

You danced around me
Your nature surrounds me
I thought,
We watched the weeping willow shrivel
It shrunk back into the ground, no longer vertiginous
We watched petunias dance wild
But only when we were living in euphoria

The intricacies of your character rained
Down, down upon me
Your superficiality was nonexistent
For you experienced my virtual dream, yet lived reality

When the ecstasy faded,
you left
While I was unable to come along
You created smoke but I chose not to breathe
You created acid but I chose to let your cynicism burn me
You were egoistic but I chose to choke
You were manipulative but I drowned on my own
