Lost in the Dark is a new quarterly horror and dark fantasy zine for new, unpublished, and up-and-coming writers. Currently seeking submissions of well-written, high-quality, original short stories (500-12,500 words), poetry (75-500 words), and book reviews for its inaugural issue. Horror and dark fantasy only—no sci-fi. Not opposed to reading the so-called “tired” themes (vampires, ghosts, zombies), as long as they’re given a new spin.

Lost in the Dark was begun to give new, good writers a chance to get their foot in the door. If you’re a horror/dark fantasy writer looking to get published, check out the submissions page and send in your work!
