Lights dissected by blinds
marching bars across the phone
its mocking gleam a silent dare
You dally in limbo
sacrificing another minute
take another breath, another
Will rallies within you and
in the aftermath of suspense broken
animates your hand
Pick up the phone

Short but sweet
I enjoyed this poem. Great way of taking a simple idea and making it into an image worth looking at, even though it's really of little significance. Good poem.
