In the dark days
You used to cover my mouth
With white pillows of sarcasm
They might as well of been teets
You gave me
My bedtime story
Tucking me in tight
In my coffin
And laying me down to sleep

Inner Child
Wow, a dead inner child...Mine is still young and vibrant, and she likes Rainbow Brite. Such a silly Alice...

Line 4
Line 4 needs to be smoothed out. Otherwise an intriguing little poem.

What's with the out-of-context Kerouac quote? Makes him sound like some kind of woman hater. Or worse. He was a really sweet guy.
