when I look into the sunset
I feel loss and regret
I feel pain and dispair
there's nothing to replace or repair
a feeling you cannot touch
a feeling that's just too much
why try to make it go away
what else would I feel if it didn't stay
happiness?
joy?
anything to better my heart?
missing you just tears me apart
I dream of a day in paradise, looking at you
watching you open your eyes to life a new
dreaming of this day
eases my pain away
with the drop of every tear
I know this day is oh so near
you will be back with us again
our beautiful brother,everyone's friend.

I enjoyed this poem, it meant something special to me also.

I can certainly identify with this poem. Losing an loved one is very painful, yet joyful at the same time, knowing one day you will meet again on that beautiful shore. keep the faith
