have you ever battled???
I mean really dropped it
like opening with lines like
"I am dead on point like a cactus hearse"
or
"Vampires always suck cuz they bite"
and then proceeded to get the heads noddin?
Yeah, neither have I
but I have tried
and it always seems like
I am that much fresher in my head
no deer in the headlights sort of theme
no, well, it was my first slam after all, excuses
just stinking up the place
and wondering where
it all went
wrong...

probably before I started writing...

------
don't worry, it's just God speaking...

I don't know why
For some reason, I really liked this piece. It definately needs some improvements on the flow and rhyme, but I liked the subject matter. Very cool. Keep it up. =D

Yes
Yes I have opened with lines like that, fer instance, "The horror of penguine belch frost." But your opening line is much better than that. Much more Gregory Corso-like.

And why give a fuck about the slams - you don't need that to validate yourself even though I know we all want some kind of "recognition!!!"
