Rain dripping down the windows
Rain fluttering the curtains
Making everything smell wet and sweet
Come in from the fields
Hang up the keys
Wipe the mud from your boots
The fire will dry your sodden things
The quilt will cover your body
I will rest my head on your shoulder
Close my eyes and sigh

the scent of life..
I thought this poem was calm and sweet, nice cadence. To find clarity and contentment in common situations isn't as easy as it looks. Good job!
