What hand of Fate joins us? Only God knows.
Though you are young as spring, and I am old;
we intersect in life, as worlds unfold.
In time your suffering, troubles, and woes
will be no more—but a memory that goes,
and fades, away. And what has been untold,
I now share with you in these lines of gold:
that you are Love, which manifests and shows.
We share a common grief from worlds apart:—
mine, I transform into dulcet lines of rhyme;
and yours, you transmute into timeless art.
Though we're an eternity apart, time
matters not to our bond,—for the great heart
that is ours transcends even the Sublime!
