Her heart, torn in two
Her world, falling apart
Her only life gone, poof
Promises of a better one
Knowing it could never live up
But never asking how she felt
And making her decisions for her
She thinks, "What the hell?"
And gives up
And she shatters into a thousand stars
Sparkling in an endless sea
Drowning her innocence, her love, and her hope
Trying to set herself free
And realizing
She's become a broken woman
A woman without, missing, empty, fractured
She'll never be complete, a part missing
Her Mother took half, her Father the other
And they pulled in opposite directions
Until they broke her soul
