We work hard at being unruly. The Almost Uptown Poetry Cartel will be hosting its wiz-bang-zowie open reading from 7 to 9pm on November 16th in our traditional Poetry Thursdays meeting room at The Midtown Scholar.

If you'd like to read out in an informal group setting or listen to others read, here's what you do: walk in, turn left into the children's room, turn left again -- making it a U-turn-- & head straight back to arrive joining us for a two-hour open mic. For the love of poetry, with no necessary rhyme or reason, come join us.

"What is called eloquence in the forum is commonly found to be rhetoric in the study." Thoreau, Walden
