I imagine conversations between him and me
Like what Caesar and Cicero must’ve said:
I’ll kill you when I’ve the chance
Though you love me now with all your words
I embrace you as a friend, respect you as a man
And I know when Fortune turns
There are ideals of myself I have to uphold
This is the first time history encounters you
Because you’ve been impossible until now
And all the same-
Another time will bring another you
So you’re not special at all
Not like me.

------
The conscious shape reality.
