Do you remember how once we were,my friend?
How strong our voices raged against the world?
Our wisdom was unbounded, our knowledge sure.
Did we not slay so many dragons then?
How we did laugh and love with such great passion, too
Our spirits soared, our hearts beat strong
We tasted immortality.
And now, though in our minds we live the same
Our feeble bodies immortality belie
Now dragons lurk in shadows
And haunting memories taunt us in the day
While nightime desolation sleep denies
A weaker voice belittles argument.
The mind begins to lose reality.
But still one abiding strength we share.
Those spirits which bound us strong so long ago
Shine across the years and bind us still
My dear friend we are ImmLiuortal yet.
