Roger Cowden will be the feaured performer at Poetry Thursdays, a weekly reading series at Harrisburg's Midtown Scholar Bookstore, hosted by the Almost Uptown Poetry Cartel.
Cowden's poetry is mixed with humour and compelling narrative,
His range of subject material makes his verse difficult to categorize-- Cowden employs poetry forms and tone that play off the idea of the work itself. And, he's a powerful, soem say, "mesmerizing" performer.
The Midtown Scholar: 1302 N. 3rd St. 17102. 7-- 9pm. (717) 236-1680.
Come early, seating is limited. A short open poetry reading will precede Cowden's performance.

True, in principle, proverbs and reverb provide ample direction for everyone. --Elfred Vito-Januski
