As moonlight froths into our room
I felt besieged, puny against the intransigent swell
It blossoms forth and distends itself until it becomes engorged
A maniacal maw equipped with hunger for rooms such as this
Yet- I wait in the stillness. Unoccupied.
Desperately catching smells of you longgone.
