August 13-- poets Adam Fausey & Cassie VerBurg will be featured at Harrisburg's Midtown Scholar Bookstore.

Cassie VerBurg wrote a short story in third grade that was published in an anthology of stories by young American writers
She studied creative writing with Jennifer Burns (Scarle) and has been awarded a medal for creative writing.
VerBurg has been attending the Midtown Scholar's open mic night on a regular basis. She's going to Millersville University this autumn to pursue a degree in Music Business and Technology with, perhaps, a minor in creative writing.

Adam Fausey, a production assistant at WITF-TV, is an astronomer, bookstore employee, people watcher. And a busy tweeter.
His coffeehouse reviews
have been popular and informative.

Fausey,has a bachelor's degree in, Communications/journalism, and Anthropology and has been featured performer at several previous Poetry cartel events.

Poetry Thursdays events are held weekly at the Midtown Scholar Bookstore in Harrisburg, PA.
