I regret I didnít see Birdman in a big dark theater, surrounded by a sea of people. Thatís where this movie deserves to be seen. Instead, I watched the DVD on my little television, high on beer, in the middle of a cloudy afternoon. Birdman is an assault on the senses. It takes no prisoners. It drags you out behind the barn and kicks your ass. Thereís no question why this movie won the Academy Award for Best Picture of the year. I guess Birdman might be the best movie Iíve ever seen. I just need a little more time to recover before I decide.

Movie Matters
I did see Birdman in a big dark theater however it was not with a sea of people. There were just two other patrons in the theater apart from me and if you wonder why its because I saw it here in Mumbai , India.
I must confess I had no idea that the movie had been nominated or won Academy award for the Best Picture when I saw it.Its a nice movie and probably a subtle commentary on popular cinema churned out from Hollywood.
