I pulled you
from shadows
filling the creases
of our palms
with my fingertips

looking into your eyes
I learned that
you were neither
denizen of earth
or night

but an angel
beatific
far removed
from times skein

where God measures
out the land

where mothers
conceive

where angelic legions
laud your bosom
intoxicated by the
fragrance of your
permanence
thatís shifting melodic
breadth of space
dotting your
indian lips
while

your desert skin
vociferates
splitting
marrow
and
spirit

birthing song

and I
listening

listen

and listen

as

my knees
become
glass

and the larva
in my
stomach
cocoons

"Some people never go crazy. What truly horrible lives they must lead." ó Charles Bukowski

Birth of a child, of a nation, of the universe. Grand statement on all the above? Is one creation overruled by another?

It all depends on the heart, don't it?

Or perhaps I'm way off the mark and this is about Grand Theft Auto.
