If you donít care about my adventure,
donít try involving me in your drama.
You always greet my good news with censure,
while moaning from self-inflicted trauma.

Depressed by the decisions you deploy,
despairing that your life is such a mess,
you cannot let me share a single joy,
without imposing guilt for my success.

The record of your dismal history
drones on so loudly you canít hear whatís new.
If you can never be happy for me,
donít expect me to stay sorry for you.

Although I pity you for your sad state,
I cannot endlessly commiserate.

------
The quickest way for me to learn something new is to first understand why I'd like to learn it.

striking
I'm sure this is deeply personal; maybe a trial that your are experiencing with someone that you wish you were closer with (I'm sure that I'm totally off base).

This read with familiarity. I can pick this up and instantly relate. I like that in a good poem.

A Sit-Com Sit-Down
There is no adventure...
in drama...
That's the comedy of it all

somehow familiar
Thanks guys. This one hit the emotional mark for a lot of people... or, at least, they claim to find my emotion identifiable.
