i smell you on my pillows
i feel you in my dreams
i know you're out there
i haven't your name
i see you every night
we talk never fight
i never remember what you say
i never remember your name
i never remember exactly
what you look like
i remember you there every night
happy to see me and i to be there
when i close my eyes you whisper near
when i open them the vague memory is there
your sleepy mask keeps you far and near
i often wonder if your someone who bumped
into me a bill collector a business woman
a cashier a friend of a friend
a mere dream
