You were trapped inside a prison inside your own mind, probable always searching for a way out
Well you choose a way out most would not agree with or say was right
Others just don't understand, unless they have been there, in this there is no doubt
But when there is depression nothing presented to you seems bright.

A man, an extraordinary man, blessed with a gift to make others laugh and smile
But no one really knew about the seething volcano, the one inside
The volcano inside you that made you decide not to walk another mile
This thing made you see and take death as a bride.

You kept it all inside as it seems like you think with this you would bother others
But that was not of your nature, always wanting to help others and give them a laugh
You looked at all men just like they were your brothers
You had a complete heart of gold, not just half.

Probably battling demons for such a very long time
After so long you made the choice to end the pain that was going on inside
Now the laughs and the fun they will remain as silent as a mime
You probably felt like no one understood so in no one you choose to confide.

So many of us wished you would have reached out for the help that would have made you whole
The help you felt was probably not there, you must have felt like no one really cared
I feel within my heart to end your life was not your goal
Depression will kill, this I have first hand experience, you feel to get away from the pain I will not be spared.

Now, you are at peace, I pray, your pain is now at an end
You will be solely missed, now the laughter has come to a dramatic end
A pity you and your life was broken and there was no way for it to mend
Just like the bird, Robin, you are now free from this life, no more does your soul have to defend.
