I've been asked to expound here on an American Press, making some news on both sides of the pond in 2013.
So, here's a brief recap of recent releases, and releasers, plus a little speculation on things to come.
Maria James-Thiaw was honored as postDada's Author-of-the-Year MidAtlantica recipent (2013.
With poems like "Ostracized" "Keeping it Real" and "The Post-Black Manifesto" James-Thiaw elegantly brought cultural identity politics out into the light.
"Talking 'White' ", a James-Thiaw collection of lyric poetry that takes a hard look at intra-cultural bullying within the African American community, a big-seller, was released in Spring 2013.

Christian Thiede, while wrapping up work on a book-length poetry collection, expected in 2014, found time this year to assemble a promotional chapbook for an autumn reading at the Little Buffalo Arts Festival, held annually near Newport, PA.
"Little Buffalo Rumblings" was a excellent augmentation to Thiede's successful Arts Fest performance.
Other names, bandied about re possible writer/postDada connections in the near future, include Rick Kearns, AnnaJayne, and Marty Esworthy.
John Destalo's is putting finishing touches on a new manuscript. His "Raw: Exposing the Untamed Mind”, was released by postDada Press in 2011. His newest, as yet untitled, work is penciled-in for an "early 2014" release.
Here's a Q&A with Destalo:
