I can not find home
that place of refuge.
Then when we reason together
whether sunny or rainy.
The scars on my skin
a reminder of days I strayed
I have been to many houses.
Yet, no place like home.

Surely, you can blindfold me
but I can see my couch.
When I am tired on my bed
bird of amour sings for me.
Where the gecko leaves
Once I say a word.
Home away from here?
No. No place like home.

I owe no explanation here
nor do I have restrictions.
Tales by moonlight.lullaby
at bedtime.Prayer at
dawn. Thanks at dusk.
You can only build a house
but you are your home.
Yes. No place like home.
