That's Supermoon..
note: This is not offered/represented as being a "haiku."

It is a senryupsyched, reportorial/observational poem.

On one level (human), it is metaphorical.

No Flowers for the Mistress
We know the reason...
there are no flowers on the Moon

But when it comes to poetry...
There's no excuse...!

"Don't tell me the moon is shining; show me the glint of light on broken glass." - Anton Chekhov

"Make it new." - Ezra Pound to transliteration and imagination

Who Cracked a Barrel of Monkeys?
Listen...It's not your fault
that the era of Post Modernism
was ushered in by a bunch of monkeys
jumping up and down on keys...
Spelling out Shakespeare...

But if you wanna take the blame...
Go ahead...!
