nae fear, forbearance, or sorrow
nothing to beg steal or borrow
i've so little left
i am quite bereft
til i get me a pint on the morrow

all the while i've been chasin the dragon
from glass unto pint until flagon
wore my bright bonnet
while i was upon it
but i'm afraid that i fell off the wagon

said hello, then goodbye, to AA
dived back and into the fray
so under duress
i wish you success
& enjoy your st paddy's day
