The Countdown (To Ivor's Birthday)

Whatís another birthday when you are sixty seven
another year gone by another step towards heaven
The second childhood came and went
I hope you did not blink
You have a reputation now
what would the people think

Whatís another year when itís made up of days
does not change a lifetime or your crazy ways
The days just come and go
no matter what you think
In a lifetime full of days
scarcely time to blink

Whats another day when itís made by the hour
body getting weaker the mind is loosing power
When every hour is wisely spent
no matter why or when
The past is now the past
you canít have that again

Whats another hour when itís made up of ticks
thereís sixty in a minute if you break it into bits
While making every second count
stay a Cheerful Chappie
Hereís wishing Ivor Davies
a birthday that is Happy

A very Happy Birthday

I came into this world with nothing,
through careful management I've got most of it left.

Birthday

Yes they do come round rather faster than they should. Just back from a trip Round the Rockies a couple of thousand KMs. Still summer weather beautiful countryside and magnificent highways being upgraded/built everywhere to join it all together.... On the return trip detoured through the Okanagan....got back yesterday.
