If you cease to love me
Then forget me
Forget that I watched you
With new eyes every time-
That I lingered and stayed
Memorized everyinch of you
That I laughed at allsorts
And written cryptic poems
On your golden skin
Imagined suns & sunflowers
Marveled at the slant of your neck
Everytime you painted
I caught and swallowed
each pip-discarded
From your lips
Walked pockmarked streets
Cursed dogs and defilement
If you cease to love me
Then forget me
I would have forgotten you…

This must be the Starbucks. or McDonalds version of love. Grab a Bite while you can. Not the selective Harrods (London) Where one visit you remember for life.
