Lost in this darkness
Surrounded and consumed
Depletion of my very soul
For a past I can't undo
Healing is a process
In which these scars won't seem to fade
Every days an obstacle
Facing mistakes that I have made
And you
Make it easier to breathe
When suffocation
Settles in

Make it easier to smile
When the pain
Comes back again
So now I take this time
To tell you now
Just how you make me feel
Like I'm grasping on
To the last thing that
I can truly say is real
And you
Have released me from this song
You broke these chains that bound and broke my heart and soul for so long

Gave me reason to believe
That I am more than just this broken empty shell my minds concieved
So with my head held high
And my heart beating strong
I know that as I end this song
That though the times get rough
I'm not afraid to drown
With u by my side life can't bring me down
Because i'm stronger now
With my chains set free

All uve helped me be
