Like the angelic scrolls of heaven,
your presence
expands and unfolds like
a universe

exploding--

I am wonderfully
in awe of it.

Never before could I imagine
this moment where
you call me

by my name

and look into my eyes with
bottomless
compassion and love.

And though
they are truly brown in color,
they take on the fiery

white gleam

of your own eyes as I gaze into them
--reflecting back their overwhelming
brilliance--for

nothing about me is not itself
transformed

by the heat and incandescence
of your supernatural
presence,

which empowers and energizes the machinery
of space-time and of reality around us
and within

the uncanny heart
and essence

of our individual and collective spirit-
bodies. You are space, time, energy,
thought, and matter all

gloriously stitched together
into one Being

that is wonderfully divine, yet earthy;
magnificent, yet humble; and
omni-potent, yet mild.

You have triumphed
over death and hell by

wresting away

the keys of life and death like an angry
and determined Messiah: so, sin is
defeated; man is restored;
and the Kingdom

and beyond
opens

up like a clearing in the dome of space--
and I,
I reflect on my unbelief
and lack of faith: and I ask myself,

Why...why dear Lord, have I doubted you?
