Luck wins
I sent in 5 of my poems, hence you might see some of my posts with "Removed by author for submission."

contest
Been considering it. Up till recently I've resisted the call of publishing. Only submitted stuff once for a Frida Kahlo exhibition in 07 - which, coincidentally, was also my introduction to litdotorg.

Promised a friend I would do it in 2011 and halfway thru 2012 I have yet to even bother making good. Of course, now that I know Brian entered...

stafford review
I hope others will enter the contest, it would be great if one of us won a prize. A long while ago i read a poem of mine to a group i used to meet with. One of our group commented that it reminded him of William Stafford. So I bought a large book of his poetry called The Way It Is...I highly recommend it. At first I was looking for similarity between his masterful work and my own .... found none. But the more I read the more inspiration I found to read more poetry, by everyone. And guess what, it lead me back here after a long absence. Sorry ,bout that,
