I am wearing grey
A grey dress dotted with withered white daisies
And grey sandals that show
The dead whiteness of bare toes
I cover myself in a grey slicker
Today- I am lost in its voluminous folds
As the delicious breath of rain
swathes the Metro’s sodden streets
and ladies and older women battle colorful umbrellas
the usual reds, pinks and yellows
stray dogs, pitiful wretches scamper for cover...

I agree with Lucie. I thought it was pleasingly vivid in its description, but stronger with the rain only referred to at the end.
