Suicide.....

People Live!
People die...

They live, learn and love
loose, let go and forget....

They get depressed, regress and stress
for the overlay of the underplay....

death comes, death is sent
death is invited...

family ignored,
transgressions and sins stored in secret places
aches and pains, disgraced was darned in pieces of the hurting heart and told to the brain
tears for fears and crack in smoked filled jeanie bottles, bottles filled with uppers and downers....
dragged on for years of unabridged life styles, crying crocodile drops that fell on roof tops breaking the head of the house....from the top down

from the top down people have drowned, overdosed, hung about, shot themselves jumped off of bridges, threw themselves in front of cars, trains and buses....disgusted...

....disgusted....with life,
failing to realize the surprise of a prize behind door number "infinity" ....to life,
forgetting that as long as there is life there is hope....
and forgetting that instead of drowning themselves in pills, bottles, syringes, death and dope
they could have a chance.....

To LIVE...

People LIVE
People die

death comes, death is sent
death is invited...

I confess yes I've tried it!
ALL

I've fell, rolled around, tumbled and got dressed up and I've been busted,
with feelings on low and trust on less then zero....
I no longer believed in a hero
until he came along...

dressed in truth
wrapping me in love
nursing me into life
rebirthing me into my destiny
teaching me through writings and whispers
leading me past trap doors and dispatching angels for his namesake
I am the hope of life, I am the teller of all things possible, I am the victorious in the midst of shadows and evils lurking...

Have FAITH,
Have HOPE and
SEEK GOD...

People Live!
People die...

They live, learn and love
loose, let go and forget....

They get depressed, regress and stress
for the overlay of the underplay....

death comes, death is sent
death is invited...
NOW to be uninvited....
By his stripes we are healed life is yours says the lord for he is the giver of it, the creator of all that is good and natural, GOD ordained, though there will come one to take it, to trick you out of it YOU will live and not die:

This is only a test of the emergency broadcast system...
...for it is the taker of life whispering evil thoughts to you as though you were a great disappointment
rebuke him and he has no other recourse but to flee from you! For there is PURPOSE in your living, it is NOT in vain, I have come to know.

I write this in prayer to God and release it to you that you may know; YOU ARE NOT ALONE

People LIVE!
People die and death is uninvited...
I SPEAK LIFE!

Wherever there is life there is hope!

behind door number infinity
A bit long and winding but I like the overall positive message here. I may not believe in the same thing you do but I always tell people to embrace their faith if it's what they need to get through the rough times.

Whenever I read poems on this subject I think of Shannon and his poem on checking the light fixture to see if it would hold someone's weight.

I realize this is meant more for spoken word than print. However, since you went for print version, there is a ton of grammar to clean up here. Also, there is multiple moving violations of tense going on to break up what is a really good poetic possibility. There is some editing to be done and some line breaks to work on for smoothness of reading. There are a few cliches to think about too.

It has real possibilities.

Thanks for sharing,
charlie.

Thank You....
All of your observations are true.
This is a piece for spoken word, and not so much as a personal testament for as much as a inspirational insight. Yes I've notice the grammatical errors, I was typing so fast; I should've re-read it before posting.
I appreciate all of your candor. Lucy, its good to know you're still here!!!!
