Now he said, I don't think we can go on like this anymore
I'm hurting while he's out there already flirting
Got my head spinning around going upside down
And I don't know if he ever cared about me at all

It's over, so over oh so over
There's nothing left here but lies
And all you wanna do is make me cry
This don't feel good for me

I'm gonna let you go you know
Oh yeah I'm gonna cut you loose
Yes I will no matter what you say
Oh yeah won't take your abuse
Yes I will no matter what you say
Say, say I'm gonna let you go
Oh, oh yeah I'm gonna let you go

Now he's says he's sorry but nothin's like it was before
I'm crying as he's denying that he's not trying
Don't even know what I'm supposed to really feel at all
And he can't understand why I seem angry

Don't think anything you say can change things now
I'm done here after all you've done
You need to find someone else to use
Don't wanna feel bad anymore

I'm gonna let you go you know
Oh yeah I'm gonna cut you loose
Yes I will no matter what you say
Oh yeah won't take your abuse
Yes I will no matter what you say
Say , say I'm gonna let you go
Oh, oh yeah I'm gonna let you go

I'm gonna let you go you know
Oh yeah I'm gonna cut you loose
Yes I will no matter what you say
Oh yeah won't take your abuse
Yes I will no matter what you say
Say , say I'm gonna let you go
Oh, oh yeah Im gonna let you go

Pretty good
I think this can use some more work, the pace and flow seems bumpy in areas. Of course, with lyrics, if you don't have a melody to think of when reading it can sometimes seem loose.

Is there a particular (familiar) melody you can suggest that might set a rhythm from reader?

Also, not to be too critical, but I think the subject matter has been done-to-death. So there is a lack of interesting lines to snap my attention.

I can see this as a moderate tempo pop song, something like Pat Benetar would sing.

LET YOU GO
Thank you for your comment ...As far as the melody goes I had one in mind as I wrote it but that does not mean it will be executed that way as I am not the one who will do that part... The genre is alternative in terms of how i heard it.... As far as the subject being done to death....Well yep love/ broken hearts and all that sure has been..... and well continue to to be subject.....:)))
