The world
now leaks
in the new glow,
as icicles return to water;
dying invisible,
dripping into an afterlife
of reborn pools.

The white soot
that fell,
came suddenly,
swept
onto the giant carpet
and stretched from
the limit of the eye
to as near
as a frostbite touch.

Patched
atlas patterned
brown earth,
now protrudes
and sun smokes.

Now, I no longer
need to search for you
beneath blankets
of different furs.

Your new season
naked spring knees,
will be tickled
by the soft petals
of extremely tall flowers,
as you tip toe
the grasslands;
that will become
our luscious secret.

Love, entwined together
on our mossy, velvet, ,
lovers bed.
