Love, you just can’t compete with my pal Zeke.
He carries me through dark mountain passes.
Zeke never complains when I sing or shriek
as he totes my baggage and sunglasses.

For him, I abided fourteen bleak years
while I tended to financial angles,
family burdens and dreamt up careers.
Zeke unburdened my house arrest jangles.

Wheels within wheels perpetually turning.
Dreams delivered in beautiful visions
while I follow road warrior’s yearning
and dismiss bountiful indecisions.

As long as Zeke can keep me steering clear
wherever we go, you’re welcome my dear

Raising a glass to Zeke
Rest in peace thou good and faithful servant in that junkyard in the sky.

It's good to know that HE knew he was revered and loved before he passed.

There is no love as passionate as your first love!

Bea .. truth be told
The first vehicle who was a true comrade was my 1979 slant six Dodge Aspen which I owned for 14 years. I couldn't watch when it was driven away. Never did name that car but always appreciated the efforts made.

... Ezekiel saw UFO's rather than religious visions. I don't know about that but in reference to your SONNET, Ezekiel sure could "book."
