Vagabond Poet

T’will be sad to see you spared for pastures new
your Ramblings helped us every day squeeze through
showing us a better way to write
with word perfection shadowed from our sight
born of today or lost in history
allowing us to deeper meaning see
and pen at last true poetry in style
that all may settle on their mind awhile.

Vagabound, Oh how I wish to be
a man so talented as thee……

Ivor G Davies

The moment created this second, is a moment that's going to last.
It lives the full spectrum of time, the future, the present and past.

Was yours an epitaph for Jimmy Saville ?

No Sex please we're British

All the music all the girls
he even rode a bike
He ran a lot and fixed some dreams
Pans People I still like...
I fixed it for Jim once myself
but that's another story
The geezer died alone at home
not with a blaze of glory
So bless him then and bless him now
so eccentric could be right
It was so sad with the girls he had
to be an hermaphrodite
