The new version of Lit.Org is getting close! Several features are ready to go: Forums, Groups (You'll be able to create public or private groups for your own use!) and the basic framework for managing your writing are all mostly done. There's a handful of other features to get done for the new version and then some testing and I'll be ready to start letting people take a poke at it.

As a developer, I'm a fan of doing things in stages when launching something like this. My plan to migrate the site over to the new version is to introduce a few of the new planned features. The new site will launch with the same features we have not (mostly) along with a few new ones. Then we'll just keep adding things and trying things. We'll keep what works and punt what doesn't.
The most important thing for members to do right now is to update your email address so it's accurate. When I import users into the new system we'll be sending verification emails and further instructions. I'll be sending out some basic instructions to everyone via email in the next few days.
Want to help out? Send me your suggestions. Do we need some new categories? What about forum categories? Anything you don't want? Anything we need to get rid of?
I'd like to thank everyone's kind words and excitement about the new site. I can't wait to show it to you!
