A strange epidemic has befallen mankind. It is a plague which incessantly corrupts to diffuse its lethal dominance. In an effort to subterfuge in mass distortion any form of godliness or goodly sensibility this Dark Age Virus has been unleashed from the depths of the hell itself. The mind and spirit of mankind is plummeting in its scourge full of powerful deceptions. Without bias to gender or age the diseased onslaught is perpetuated within the secular world as well as the religious world. It knows no boundaries. Even with all the vast technological, scientific, and intellectual advancements afforded the 21st century, the inherent cultural quality of mankind has proportionately regressed to a point that is disproportional, because of this unbridled curse. The epidemic is causing a catastrophic blindness, deafness, and ignorance in both the natural realm and the spiritual realm.

We have only to walk a busy street in one of our major cities, or visit one small hometown of yesterday, to visually acknowledge the stealthy infectious progress of this epidemic. Its sadistic coarse has been inlaid within the consciousness of our evolutionized society through the desensitivity toward goodliness, not to mention godliness. Instead, turning a deaf ear, a blinded eye, and a shallow mind, people instinctively surge on ahead irregardless. We have only to view the blatant entertainment world through movies, television, computers, to inject ourselves with another lethal dose full of darkness. We have only to listen to hapless deranged mothers scream foul language to their disrespectful offspring. We have only to see corrupt men and women dishonor one another continually in perverse intimacies. We have only to see the demoralization of our neighbors through war after war. Whether seen in the real world or in the fantasy world of our social games. All the while following the bewitching scents that proclaim a world full of power, love, money, and luxury. Wild inane Guru's and self proclaimed Shakers have covertly subjegated thousands into mindless theories and doctrines of devils to deceive the unquenchable curious. In their stead, leaving behind the tell tale signs of devastation and disease thwarted lives. More people infected with more blindness, more deafness, more ignorance. The epidemic continues without a cure.

Scriptual references in II Timothy 3; Matthew 13; Mark 7; Ephesian 4; all poignantly describes the conditions of mankind upon the arrival of the Son of God, so it very evident that the Word of God is proving itself once again. But, perchance, we can make a difference is the question. Is our God able to use one of US to open blinded eyes or cause the deaf to hear, or proclaim the truth of the liberty that is found in Jesus that sets the mind and spirit free? Can we descern the doctrines of devils that are deceiving the many; to perhaps lead one more in the path that leads to life? Can we turn aside perhaps one more from following the theories of man, whether it be in the natural or in the spiritual, to lean upon the arm of Jesus instead? Can we ourselves be healed from our own blindness, our own deafness, or our own ignorance? Yes, yes we can, if we are willing. Then, I know our God will cause each of us, in our own way, to be part of the cure, part of the antidote.

This is our commission as Disciples. Are we not the ones who bear the Good News? Are we not the ones who God has called His Own? Do we not now carry the Ark of the Covenant with us? Are we not the Temples of the Holy Ghost? Have we not been born of the incorruptible seed and therefore put on the new man that is regenerated unto righteousness? Or have we allowed ourselves to become, once again, tainted and riddled with the diseases of the world? Are we now the blind leading the blind, the deaf leading the deaf, the ignorant leading the ignorant?

I respectfully say, NO we are not. We are called the redeemed of the Lord and we should say so. We are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that we should show forth the praises of Him who hath called us out of darkness into His marvelous Light; as so wonderfully proclaimed in I Peter 2:9 . Perhaps we had better go back and rehearse the scriptures again till the Holy Spirit ignites a fire of faith and power to be a true Disciples who is able and willing to follow Jesus Christ as ordained. We cannot afford any more blindness or to be led into more blindness, through blind leaders. We cannot afford any more deafness or allow anyone else to lead us into more deafness, through their own deafness. We cannot afford any more ignorance, or allow any other to lead us into more ignorance because of their own ignorance.

We must arise and call upon the name of the Lord while it is yet day and while He is yet near. We must allow the overcoming Blood of the Lamb to be our antidote, that we might be able to provide and offer a cure for all others, thru Jesus our Christ our Lord.
