Hi guys and gals, it's a case of, hiya Ogg, or who the hell are you? heh. Okay, well, I've been about here for quite a bit (Lit.org that is). Since about 2003 I think. Anyway, I kinda stopped last year in November. Dad passed away in March of this year and things have been a bit rough but we're getting over it now. Take my advice btw, make out a will, Dad didn't and we have solicitors still sorting out probate now.
Cheerier note, we moved house back in September of 2010 and the bloody garden's brilliant! It does require a fair bit of looking after, but there've been raspberries, blackcurrants, potatoes and onions so far. There's an apple tree as well, just waiting for the apples to ripen and a wild blackberry bush is surrounding the toolshed. The blackberry is the playground bully that beats up the neighbours and nicks their lunch money.
I'll be writing more fiction soon and hope to post it up here. But what about those months when I went missing? da da daaaaar. Facebook is the simplest answer, I finally got fed up of the hissy rows and handbag fights and have ducked out from under, hopefully not to return. It's amazing how addictive it can be. I was involved in anti-EDL (English Defence League) sites. They are a right bunch of fascists but anyway I'm not getting into that again.
What else, hmmmm? Oh yeah it's our 29th wedding anniversary this August 21st and we had a not half bad time. Got each other some rather nice watches and I'll be back at university soon, to work that is. I'm still doing the same job, supporting disabled students, best job in the world but the summer break's a bit too long. Anyway, I'm expecting some seeding spuds to turn up soon and need to plant out some bluebell bulbs. I'll get back to youse all as soon as poss.
Take care y'all.
Paul (The Oggster)
