If a seed of limitless potential

Were planted in poisonous earth

Fed from root to believe it is a weed

Would you expect it to bloom a bouquet of beatitudes?

Would you understand it thorned?

Would you care to learn why?

Invest as much effort, just as passionately

To nurture its petals?

Have you ever contemplated the Dandelion or Daisy?

Or is a Rose more your stature?

Give me air

For I am a Dandelion

Breezily casting love.

Give me air

For I am a Daisy

A sun-shiny heart.

I feel air.

From my breast the seed grows

Ever present

Just malnourished...

I, am a Flower.

"A weed is merely a misunderstood flower" ~ unknown

I like it when a flower or a little tuft of grass grows through a crack in the concrete. It's so fuckin' heroic. ~ George Carlin

Tammy's Dandelion
Funny Tammy...I picture you as a lovely budding rose, destined to spread it beauty and heavenly scent to all around her!

Love how you've blossomed into a poet to be reckoned with! So happy you're back with us!

WEED-BE-GONE
Well, If'n I can't eat it or smoke it, then no flower or weed will get past my WEED-BE-GONE.

Andi I got a special holsterized shooter for any green trying to sneak up between my sidewalk cracks.

I think George Carlin drinks the same stuff before each of his shows.
