In these times
That are full of
Trouble and sorrow,
i wonder if I will
Have the money
To make it through
Another day.

I am out of work,
I am out of luck,
Looking for food
And someplace to stay
Where I can sleep
For more than one day.

I must find a job,
A place to rent,
Pray to God
That to my aid
Angels will be sent.
I will struggle on
Just to catch my breath,
I will struggle on
To survive,
I will scratch the world
Just trying to survive,
Sometimes it's tough,
Just being alive.
