My heart has died
With our baby inside
Lost again in a pool of blood Stinking
With this dark alley
Lit only by the croosroads caution light
Blinking.
And I taste salt as her tears stream,
And copper as I bite back my screams,
And I choke,"PLEASE GOD, NO!!" as I
Gently picked her up and ran-
First this way, then that-
But I knew not THE WAY.
And I can't stop her. No.
I can't stop her from dying too.

The Dark Embrace
Death comes without warning to snatch you in the dark...
Or sometimes with blinking caution lights...
