Her happiness is contagious
her sadness, abysmal grief.
Seeking rainbows of solace
to bring her sweet relief,
from the pain that lies within
the smoky mirrors of her mind.
imprinted in indelible ink
carved in the sands of time.
Hollow shells of sorrow and deceit,
jewels gleaming in the sun.
Bones scattered at her feet
leave nowhere else to run.
Trapped in hell's illusion,
she struggles with belief
that there is something greater
just beyond her reach.

All in a day's work!
Thank You, Bea. For reading my work and making me laugh! As a matter of fact, I'm stalking the Universe. I hope it doesn't mind...the cake said "eat me", what was I supposed to do?
