Songwriting is a wonderful avocation
time well spent, wile away a warm summer day
poet/songwriter songwriter/poet transformation
To us a treat to behold no matter which way

Last months's offerings were terrific. I posted them all on 'Majestic' for June. So- let's see what we can do this month.

The word set is 'Going Home'

Here are the rules for any new poet folks that would like to join in.
Use the word set in the refrain/chorus or in one line of every verse. That's it!

When you want to post it please post it in the 'Lyric' catagory so that I don't miss it. I always spotlight all the song challenge entries at the bottom of my article on 'Majestic' - 'The Rambling Of A Vagabond Poet' along with what I humbly deem the best poetry and lyrics.

The best to you all.

Why is doing what you love the hardest thing to do? Is it because failing what you thought defined you would be too devastating a thing from which to recover? If so, we stay where mere accident has left us.
