My opinion that a seeker of truths, should follow
Jesus. A person must put themselves in Jesus time
era. That is where the scripture was written. After
Jesus was crucified and the disciples died, people
entertained other teachings of man.

It is like the game of telephone, that is a grammar
school game. A message is given to one student by
ear, they tell the next and so on till it has traversed
the classroom. The last person states the message and it
is totally different from the original message.

Read your Bible, block out the teachings of man. It
is difficult, but the Bible is the word of GOD.
Jesus was a Jew, observed sunset Friday as the Sabbath.
Observed feast days, in fact they were celebrating the
PASSOVER the night of betrayal.

Today churches come in all shapes, forms and sizes.
Jesus is the chief cornerstone of the Church of GOD.
True and square on which, beliefs should be built
upon. Follow Jesus and his teachings, not that of man.
Jesus said in MATT:24-4, "Take heed that no man
deceive you". Read your Bible.

Along with parts of the Bible being some the oldest scriptures, the Vedas- Vedic Sanskrit scriptures in India date to at least 1500 BC and were completed by 1200 BC.

And before that, the Pyramid texts in ancient Egypt predate the Vedas.

The Bhagavad Gita is recommended reading for any religious scholar, as well.

This is so true much of the bible has been rewirtten to suit or villify God's word.

Just read it for yourself and then make your judgements...and yes...Jesus DOES save!

I try not to comment on religious pieces.

O.K. Robert, I'll comment
Some old rabbi writes something about God (in ancient Hebrew). It gets collected and edited into a scroll. The scroll gets translated into Greek. The Greek gets translated into Latin (with a few changes by the Roman Catholic Church to better support their doctrine). The Latin gets translated into German by Guttenberg (who simplifies it for the masses). The German gets translated into English (of the poetic King James kind). The English gets interpreted by Poewhit, who says "only focus on the Jesus parts."
How close do you think this is to the original "Word?"

If it works

People tell me they don't watch TV or listen to this that or the other because it is polluting their minds.

The teachers at school often blamed me for not listening... haha.... When in fact it was often them that didn't realize I was just ...thick.

You left out the BEST translation James
Jamaica's patois Bible: The word of God in creole

Anything that has to be force fed to me will more than likely be on my unwanted list

I would love a Heaven and a great after-life. I would love a God that wasn't narcissistic but then am I sane?

there could be a touch of Egocentrism in my replies. There is no harm in being a religious nutter as long as no harm is done but it always seems to be the other guy with the other religion that is to blame.

Crucified... That's a good word as long as you aint on the receiving end of it.
